How can I make more money?

Looking to start making some extra cash. I am a not a frequent spender, no new car or anything like that. But I love to work online and be creative. I could really use some ideas for something to work on during my spare time and weekends. Any ideas?

If you have off duty employment on active duty you must have that approved by your commander.

Research "work at home" or similar online. Not all of it is junk marketing. Some requires training. Everything from internet to assembling components. Good luck.

Actually since I'm biased, take the new soccer referee course and start doing games which are mostly on weekends. Even an hour 11 year old kid game gets you $30 typically. Gets you out, gets you running, and gets you using your mind quickly. Soon enough, you'd don't even notice the running part. I didn't start doing it until after I hung the uniform up but was surprised all the doors it opened for me. Check out any other sport that may interest you. I mentioned soccer because it's everywhere on the weekends much of the year. However if you really want to do other stuff, go for it.

Start taking some college courses and start working towards promotions. You are in a great position to get a lot of your courses knocked out by using TA. You don't want to use your GI Bill on core classes after you leave the Army.

Do you write? You could do copywriting for companies, and it can be quite lucrative and in your spare time. Check out the AWAI (I think that's American Writers and Artists Institutes). It's on the level, and has some real training. Also Ray Edwards (I think it's http://www.rayedwards.com). He is a really ethical person and offers some good free hints online.
