Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 16 at 2014 11:35 AM 2014-02-16T11:35:58-05:00 2014-02-16T11:35:58-05:00 1SG Shane Hansen 58421 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I agree with SGT Shulman.  College credits; get your military experience evaluated by a college and get the official transcript as soon as possible to your S-1.  Continue working on your degree while moving up in the ranks.  I am sure any NCO around you can tell you which college they used to have their military experience evaluated.  It seems different colleges award differently based on your MOS.  NCOs in your field will know which one will work best for you and hopefully that college will offer whichever degree plan you are working towards also.  Good luck. It is a quick way to earn your degree, and get more college points for promoton without going though a semester class. Take military distance learning and get enrolled in college. Max you APFT and Weapons scores. When I was in, the points never dropped below 800. Until I got mine up to 750. As an E5 I had to reach 966, before I got the rocker. College courses. You have to stick with it. Make sure you have your course completions in your record. Hang in there. It can be done.
