This may be more difficult than you think. First, the unit has to have an opening. Usually the state will try to fill their own vacancies. You may have missed out. You should try to contact that BNs S1 NCOIC to ask if they have vacancies. Deployments are hard to come. Most units won&#39;t send the whole battalion. When I sent to Jordan it was only a few sections of HHC and two companies. We left the rest of the BN behind. We didn&#39;t need anyone outside of the BN to go.
