"Damaged goods". Your chances of reenlisting are slim to none. <br />This does not mean that you can't apply for a waiver if the Recruiter wants to pursue it! But to get your dd214 amended, you have to go through your former service first for an appeal to upgrade your RE4 and discharge. The burden of proof is on you that you feel the discharge was unusually harsh along with the RE Code. If they find in your favor they can change your discharge. He also had erroneous discharge indicating he didn't notify Lackland of his eczema. Now, MEPs knew about it and cleared him after having him checked by an assigned dermatologist. They did not provide a waiver though. Lackland denied his waiver request. He has a re-entry code of 4c and I think it's unfair. His asvab score was 93. That recruiter informed me that the guard was the only way back into uniform per regs at that time. Keep in mind those regs are aged and we were involved in oif/oef heavily.
