PVT Private RallyPoint Member 5077514

Hello all,
I have just completed BCT and I am waiting to finish senior year. During my time training and during drill weekends, I have seem to highly enjoyed it. I am finding out how I can go to Active Duty because it seems more suitable for me than one weekend a month. I am a 68W and I have heard that it is easier to try to get a conditional release now before completing AIT (Prior Service Rules). Any help is highly appreciated, thanks! How can someone get a conditional release to leave National Guard split ops to go active duty before AIT? 2019-09-30T18:10:27-04:00 PVT Private RallyPoint Member 5077514

Hello all,
I have just completed BCT and I am waiting to finish senior year. After submission, it becomes a waiting game....could take a few to several months. Also, your Commanders are under no obligation to grant your request for release to Active Duty. I know I sure did not when it was me way back then.

This is what I would do if I was in your shoes.
Wait until you are done with school. Look at your life then think real hard about if you still want to go.
Then go back to the active Reuters Talk to the one's that talk to you. They work on a point systems of how meany people they get to M.E.P.S. and Enlist. If they help you, you help them.

On the N.G. side it is just a simple form and letter stating why you are asking for your release to go active. This my take a few weeks to get.
good luck and think about it.
