I have over 60 college credits, good pt score, a 119 GPA, but I had a 2.7 GPA. Any idea on if I’ll be competitive for the opportunity? Any insight is appreciated! As long as you are accepted to a university as an academic junior, accepted by the PMS of the ROTC program, and approved to participate by your company and battalion commander, you will be selected to participate. 1LT Private RallyPoint Member Tue, 09 Apr 2019 22:45:57 -0400 2019-04-09T22:45:57-04:00 Response by CPT Ray Gilmore made Apr 9 at 2019 10:50 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-competitive-is-the-army-green-to-gold-non-scholarship-option?n=4530649&urlhash=4530649

119 GPA?

If you mean 1.19, you are not getting in.
Commissioning requires a 2.0 of higher. You pay for your own college and you're released from Active Duty. It's actually a very good deal for the Army. Since you're eligible to enroll in Simultaneous Membership Program through the Reserve component, it's a good deal for them too. Almost no hoops to jump through and I was already in the reserves so the contract went through pretty quickly. Should be no issues going this route.
