Taegu. I sent her a plane ticket. We had not yet had any kids and had been married two years. She spent 8 months. I left after 13 months. Reassigned to Fort Carson. Son Erin was born at the Military Hospital. These are what I surprised my wife with. She loved them, and even my kids expressed surprise at how nice they looked. They aren't in stock at the moment, and the portrait gift is fairly expensive, but there are other in-stock alternatives. Apparently, the in-person quality is significantly higher than a video or image can do it justice.

I've always had a tendency to forget my anniversary (not uncommon for us guys), so I intentionally scheduled for the deliveries to occur one day after the actual anniversary day. The idea being that she would think I forgot again, and then BAM, she gets surprised with an awesome gift. The problem was, Amazon delivered them earlier than I wanted, but right on time for the anniversary. So it still worked out.

https://www.amazon.com/3D-Illuminates-Personalize-Engraving-Portrait/dp/B01FPTPLRW?th=1

https://www.amazon.com/Kate-Posh-Marriage-Anniversary-Paperweight/dp/B01BX99VCO?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_1

Amazon.com: 3D Cube Crystal with a Free LED Base That Illuminates The Crystal, Personalize with...

Buy 3D Cube Crystal with a Free LED Base That Illuminates The Crystal, Personalize with Your own Custom Engraving (Medium Portrait): Indoor Fountain Stones & Sea Glass - Amazon.com â FREE DELIVERY possible on eligible purchases

SFC Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 24 Aug 2020 07:25:48 -0400 2020-08-24T07:25:48-04:00 Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 24 at 2020 9:34 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-did-you-celebrate-a-wedding-anniversary-during-deployment?n=6239583&urlhash=6239583

Get flowers sent. Skype is just, well Skype. Get out some paper and write a real letter. She's the ground commander back home, so honor that. That's all I could do back in the day the first 3 anniversaries we had. Missed Thanksgiving and Christmas days as well. Thought we got over most of that but no, it kept happening. CAPT Kevin B.
