GReat work by this company with very flat testing procedures to help give repeatable and consistent results to judge your chosen SD round, current or perhaps future choice.

MCPO (Join to see) Thanks I did find it very enlightening. How did your carry ammo fair?

Pretty well. Hornady 90 grain Critical Defense in my G42. Not the belle of the ball, but a solid performance. I vaccilate about carrying a 9mm, but I don't want to dress around it. Sticking with my G42 for the time being. I installed the MagGuts 7 round conversion and I always carry an extra with a SnagMag. Might try the Hydrashocks or Starfires next time I hit the range. I always shoot my carry ammo first, get in some draw and presentation shot work, then shoot my "bigger" guns. Once again, kick ass article. Thanks for posting!

Thanks, it was an eye opener...... We have 6 guns that rotate though carry between my wife and I, in two calibers .45 and .380. Post article..Im changing SD rounds for the .380, keeping the .45, and if I put a 9mm back in rotation I'll be changing that SD round as well.
