Will Boyd 3371061 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div> How do Army service stripes work (I've seen some service stripes only worn on the left sleeve but sometimes on both sleeves)? 2018-02-19T21:53:53-05:00 Will Boyd 3371061 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div> How do Army service stripes work (I've seen some service stripes only worn on the left sleeve but sometimes on both sleeves)? 2018-02-19T21:53:53-05:00 2018-02-19T21:53:53-05:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 3371081 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>In army the left sleeve is time in service, one stripe for every 3 years of service. Right sleeve is deployment stripes, one stripe for every 6 months of deployment.
