Recommend 6 small meals that have equal parts protein, carb, vegetable. Better if your food once had a face. Meal replacement shakes are good, just watch added sugars.Response by LTC Jason Mackay made Feb 4 at 2019 1:15 AM2019-02-04T01:15:08-05:002019-02-04T01:15:08-05:00SSG Laurie Mullen4340716<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Have you talked to a nutritionist? He/She will be able to figure you how many calories you need, what types of foods would work best for you, and perhaps what types of workouts you need to do. Good luck.Response by SSG Laurie Mullen made Feb 4 at 2019 10:02 AM2019-02-04T10:02:00-05:002019-02-04T10:02:00-05:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member4340770<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you have the weight waver I wouldn't worry about it. Better to be healthy and active. Fat without working out will not make BMT any easier- just harder.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 4 at 2019 10:25 AM2019-02-04T10:25:21-05:002019-02-04T10:25:21-05:00SGT Patrick Reno4340810<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It will be even harder keeping your weight up in basic. When I went I was 6'2" and 145 lbs. Drill sergeants paired me up with an over weight guy and every meal I got half his food and all his desert.
