I am National Guard and I am going to applying for long-term orders with a Warrior Training Center. If accepted to the job, my move is 1,276 miles and the orders are for greater than the 20week mark to get authorized PCS. I am unsure how that whole system works. Do I work with a travel liaison with the destination, or do I work with a travel officer in my state?

You should contact the POC for your ADOS assignment they will be able to tell you what type of move you will be authorized for since they are the ones that created to position and coordinated the funds were available. If you haven't yet applied for the position look at the job title or job position at the bottom of that page you should see the POC name and rank. I would suggest you send that person an email.

It depends on who the long term orders (ADOS) are for; active or guard. If/when selected, active duty sends orders to in process at a duty station. Your orders should state 'authorized pcs'. While in processing, you can work with the local dps or start the process online (move.mil) to schedule pick up and delivery of house hold goods. Active pays for the PCS.
If working for the guard, the process will be different and coordinated through the state.

Thank you ma'am, that helps in knowing where I should be looking next if I do get selected.

SGT (Join to see) If you are on or near an active base or post your unit may send you there for your travel orders. I don’t think your unit will leave you hanging.
