How do I become a recruiter, what are the requirements?

Does anyone have a reliable link to become a recruiter? I hear I have no chance to become one only having one duty station under my belt.

SFC Private RallyPoint Member As a Chaplin Assistant you are going to potentially have a slightly different recruiting job. I'm not sure if you can get into normal recruiting. You would still be paired up with a Chaplin, and out looking to recruit new chaplins, while also performing normal duties. Right now it is very easy to get into the recruiting world, just fill out that packet and wait for USAREC.

Recruiting Command took my best E-6 Tankers for recruiting duty. It was a shame because they belonged on the Tanks and wanted to stay on Tanks. I called them Tanker Gods.

You can also give a call to your branch manager....they'll help get the ball rolling.

Just get ready mentally to a different kind of stress! There is no youtube on how to be a recruiter, you just have to do what works for you, and do what is right at all times even when the recruiting mission calls for more applicants. Do not compromise your integrity and position for no one. Trust me that will save your career.
