How do I become an AIT Platoon Sergeant?

I'm interested in volunteering for the AIT Platoon Sgt position. Has anyone done it before, and if so how do you go about volunteering for it?

To volunteer contact your branch. There is also a check box you can select if you go into your ASK Profile under the volunteer tab.

I spoke with my branch manager and they referred my name to the drill sgt branch.

You'll ABIC and possibly SGITC for starters once you have that branch shouldn't have an issue slotting you.

Its sort of hard now as the money is drying up so unless they ask for it or there is a need it probably wont happen if you are in the reserves, for example Ft Sam had a lot but then they sent them all back to their units as there were less deployments so they were not needed as much
