I know I’m suppose to go to my schools NCO but he’s not the best at doing his job. I would like to know what documents and other materials go into making a packet to attend ranger school. That way the process can be made less difficult and things won’t somehow “get lost” or “not get filed”.How do I build a packet for ranger school?2020-08-13T11:02:26-04:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member6202433<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I’ve been trying to go to ranger school for some time now. I would be able to help you if you are station in Hawaii or anywhere in Pacific region.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 13 at 2020 11:04 AM2020-08-13T11:04:49-04:002020-08-13T11:04:49-04:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member6202446<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>There was no packet to submit for a slot when I went. My training NCO went onto ATRRS and submitted a school application for me. That is all. If you require a waiver, the list of necessary docs can be found on the school website. Once you get a Reserved status, then you would need to build a packet to in-process on the first day of the course.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 13 at 2020 11:05 AM2020-08-13T11:05:27-04:002020-08-13T11:05:27-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member6202690<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Go onto the Ranger school website and everything is thereResponse by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 13 at 2020 12:16 PM2020-08-13T12:16:50-04:002020-08-13T12:16:50-04:001SG Ernest Stull6203567<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If the army still does 4187. That's all you need. If you're not P qualifed you might want to go airborne first. If your not in good physical shape then get there.Response by 1SG Ernest Stull made Aug 13 at 2020 4:02 PM2020-08-13T16:02:44-04:002020-08-13T16:02:44-04:002020-08-13T11:02:26-04:00
