How do I enroll in MACP (married Army Couple program)?

I’m already doing the process for BAH but was told because my wife is currently stationed in other base I can’t get BAH. Funny part is that I was told at finance when I already got out of the barracks and have a leased (Apparently my leadership doesn’t know the regulations very well). So I heard that using a 4187 I can request move over there/enroll in MACP. Any information?

If y’all are at separate locations, you ARE NOT authorized BAH. You will both reside in unaccompanied housing until you PCS to your next duty station. You need to enroll in the MACP and move back into the barracks unless you have a signed ETP granting you BAH while unaccompanied. You are solely responsible for the cost of the lease you signed while not being authorized BAH
