How do I enroll my Husband in DEERS when I am in Korea and he's in BCT?

My husband and I just got married right before he went to BCT and I am currently stationed in Korea. I've tried going to DEERS to enroll him and they keep kicking me back for this or that and it is highly frustrating. I know I need a scanned copy of his photo ID and is SSN plus our marriage certificate. Is that all I need? Also how do I sign up for dual military if he's in BCT, can I do so even if he is in BCT? I've asked DEERs and they tell me my S1 should know, but he is brand new.

Why would you enroll your husband in DEERS if he is enrolled already because of the Army?

That's all the paperwork- your S1 should be able to do it- if they can't (the whole shop), then go to the next higher S1.

There are toll free phones for DEERS, VA has them, call [login to see] , the main BA toll free phone line, ask for the eBenefits toll free phone number, when you get them, ask for the DEERS/DMDC toll free phone line, we had to get VA and Congress help to get my mother in law registered under DEERS/DMDC then fax them all her stuff, to try submitting her for VA survivor benefits, we didn't get her the benefits, however, after interminable phone calls and emails, as well as faxes, we did get her onto DEERS/DMDC, positively, so if we did it, you should be able to also, hope tat at least helps, if you'd care to chat more, glad to, however, honest, let the Congress staffs help you, all here, House, and both Senate, call their district offices, they'll do all casework, the DC offs only do policy, we've found, it can be done, we did it, honest....

Though it takes a really long time, and you need to be really, really patient, trust me, been there done that (BTDT), honest....

And trust !e, they're gonna want ever piece of paper, all ID cards, everything, so get all of them before you even start...also, try asking a RAPIDS facility that does ID cards, when we got my total perm disability approved, my wife and I were given MWR IDs as part of the benefits, RAPIDS units might also he able to help, just a thought, of course....
