That way you know it will be accepted the first time Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 18 at 2020 11:55 PM 2020-10-18T23:55:25-04:00 2020-10-18T23:55:25-04:00 SSgt Christophe Murphy 6416737

I would direct your question to whoever represents your out-processing Admin office. The Marine Corps has a personnel Admin Center that works all that and they would be the ones to address. It may be a non-starter though as allowances such as COLA, BAH, etc are generally based on Duty Station and not leave or home of record location. I have been out long enough this could have changed but it may still be an issue Response by SSgt Christophe Murphy made Oct 19 at 2020 8:47 AM 2020-10-19T08:47:46-04:00 2020-10-19T08:47:46-04:00 1SG Private RallyPoint Member 6417135

BAH is based off of where you are stationed, not where your spouse lives or where you are taking leave. You are still assigned to your unit in Korea until your ETS date. Once you sign out, your OHA will stop and you will receive BAH Non-Locality rate until your ETS date. This rate is the same regardless of location, but the best answer is check with finance.

https://www.military.com/benefits/military-pay/basic-allowance-for-housing/non-locality-bah-reserve-component-transient.html

2020 BAH Non-Locality Rates

BAH RC/Transient is for members in special circumstances such as reservists on active duty less than 30 days.

Response by CW4 Keith Dolliver made Oct 21 at 2020 12:28 AM 2020-10-21T00:28:31-04:00 2020-10-21T00:28:31-04:00 2020-10-18T23:07:25-04:00
