how do I get a copy of the money the military paid for my attendance at a local junior college while on active duty?

I attended a local junior college while serving on active duty for 2 semesters earning a total of 24 credit hours. I requested my transcripts and that junior college claims I only attended for 1 semester. I am not delusional...I know I attended for 2 semesters and the only way I know to prove it is if you can provide me with the actual funds you paid while I attended. I am looking for the fall semester of 1975, Central Texas College.

Do you have official transcripts issued earlier that show it? Did you provide them to another school to obtain credit? Maybe they have them. Your file from the ed center will have been long destroyed. Were your transcripts part of your OMPF for promotion etc? Request your records from NPRC.

Try contacting the Financial DEPT at the school. They are required to keep payment records. If this doesn’t work, I always suggest contacting your Congressman. Every Congressman I have contacted regarding ding issues has been able to resolve the issue and provide me with the information I needed. Good luck and don’t give up! The school HAS records, but they appear to not want to have to go back to 1975 to provide you the information you need. You might also want to contact the Dean’s office.
