How do I get dental treatment for service connected GERD ? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-do-i-get-dental-treatment-for-service-connected-gerd <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have service connection for GERD and am trying to get my teeth fix due to the enamel eroded from the acid. It has been so bad that I have had 2 surgeries but the enamel on my teeth is gone. I have provided countless documentation from 3-4 different dentist with nexis statements but VA won&#39;t fix the problem. I filed a claim but was denied since VA won&#39;t pay compensation since Dental is not service connected. DRO told me I can get treated but not compensated and he referred me to my local VA dentist, which in turn sent me a letter stating that I am not elidable due to not being a 100% or service connected for dental, which they won&#39;t give me even though the evidence is there. This has been going on for over 6 years and having countless problems with my teeth. This is affecting me mentally and physically. Don&#39;t know what else to do since I can&#39;t afford the fix with my dental insurance and don&#39;t see why the VA can&#39;t fix the problem and charge my insurance since they already charge my insurance for my service connected disabilities which they shouldn&#39;t be doing.
