It says it counts for points and since it is actually my MOS I was wondering how I might get this added or what I would need to get this added to my ERB? <br /><br />Any help is appreciated. Trying to make points as soon as I can. How do I get EWL code for Military Education? 2016-09-28T22:26:16-04:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 1931395 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was going through the military courses from HRC that count towards promotion points and I noticed the code EWL for Nodal Network Systems Operator. You may need to drag along an NCO for the appointment. As far as promotion points for your mos, I tried doing the same thing for 25N. I think it would give you like 800 hours of military ed and probably max you out. I figured that it was too good to be true and did some more research on it. In AR 600-8-19 pg 47 it states that (2) Noncommissioned Officer Education System. Promotion points are not authorized for NCOES Courses (except as indicated in para 3–18a), all badge-producing courses (see military awards, para 3–17), BCT, advanced individual training, new equipment training, USMAPS/U.S. Military Academy, language training, OCS, and Warrant Officer Candidate Course. I know that 25N points have significantly dropped these past few months. If you maxed out your military ed by adding your AIT cert I would talk to your NCO and explain the situation. You do not want to be in a position where you have to back pay the Army. Hope this information helped.
