See a recruiter
2.) Tell them what you want to do, and be persistent. Don’t take no for an answer. The Army missed mission for recruiting for the first time in about 30 years. They need people!
3.) If there’s no program available to go from basic to warrant candidacy, you’ll have to enlist first.
4.) I recommend an aviation specialty, that way you’ll have an edge when you drop a warrant packet.

Hope this helps! I haven’t been a recruiter for a long time, but the basics stay the same. When I was in the AF, we did not have warrent officers (we should have). A warrent officer will be paid W1-W4 as if you were a 2LT-MAJ, however, you really have no rank, just a pay grade. You will not be incharge of anything beyond yourself and perhaps a small MTX crew. If you are interested in leadership and flying, I would encourage you to become an officer, otherwise, speak to the senior officer in one of the two ROTC divisions about helicopters in the USA and USMC and he would be able to enlighten you.
