If you're in the USAR,
Log onto HRC> Soldier portal> tools> vacancy search.
Search within your state.
If you're ARNG, call a state rep, talk with your recruiter, contact MEPS, or walk into another unit and see if they have a vacancy for your MOS.
Failing that, switch components.

2LT (Join to see)
SGT (Join to see), that would depend on your contract. More than likely it says that if you're unable to qualify for the position you signed up for, you will be reassigned and retrained into a position at the needs of the Army.
My suggestion, if this is a possibility, is to find a recruiter or Army Reserve Career Counsellor and ask them to fond toy a position you'ld enjoy that does require a clearance.

Active duty - Can you swap? If so then yes.
Do you have a secondary MOS? Maybe there's an opening in the SMOS.
National Guard or Reserve - Move your home.
