<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you never submitted an SF 86 then you were never applied for a Clearance and the answer is no. If you were approved for a Clearance and it was revoked, you would have been notified. You will always have an opportunity to explain your answers during an interview. Answer all questions truthfully.PO1 Rick ServissMon, 27 Aug 2018 18:18:38 -04002018-08-27T18:18:38-04:00Response by MSgt Steven Holt, NRP, CCEMT-P made Aug 27 at 2018 9:01 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Rule of Thumb: Active clearances (and access) are usually a local unit/function/assignment activity and handled by your local security office. If you've been read out of access, then your clearance is still valid, just inactive.<br /><br />Special Security Background Investigations (SSBI) are only good for five years. If it's been longer than that since your last update, most likely your clearance has been invalidated. Easy enough to re-accomplish but your new employer will be responsible for the cost of the SSBI update.MSgt Steven Holt, NRP, CCEMT-PMon, 27 Aug 2018 21:01:39 -04002018-08-27T21:01:39-04:00Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 27 at 2018 9:37 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Did you have a clearance of any level for your MOS? You could always contact a colleague with JPAS access and have them look you up. Takes about 30 seconds.SGT Private RallyPoint MemberMon, 27 Aug 2018 23:22:36 -04002018-08-27T23:22:36-04:002018-08-27T17:27:53-04:00
