SSG Private RallyPoint Member 4851046 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was with a Joint unit but failed to obtain a copy of the JMUA orders due to the fact they were not published before I left. Is there a way I can contact HRC and show them that I was in the unit when it was awarded to them so that I am allowed to wear it? How do I obtain a copy on a units Joint Meritorious Unit Award? 2019-07-26T15:52:04-04:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 4851046 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was with a Joint unit but failed to obtain a copy of the JMUA orders due to the fact they were not published before I left. From HRC:<br />&quot;Unit Human Resources Specialists may use the listings posted on the Awards and Decorations Branch as a reference to locate AGOs from the Army Publishing Directorate website or request copies of orders from ADB to use to update Soldier&#39;s records. A copy of the unit award is not required to update records. Only the awarded unit receives the order and it is not necessary for individual Soldiers to receive copies of unit awards to have their records updated to reflect permanent award of a unit award. If member of a subordinate unit, the JMUA isn&#39;t authorized. If in a bullet in the joint unit, it would be authorized.
