How do I reenlist with a separation code of JFW?

PVT Clayton Whatley You will need to ask an Army Recruiter to see if your RE-3 Code and Separation Code can warrant a waiver. There are some separation codes that cannot be waived IAW Army Regulations. Keep in mind even a suitability review might be required through the Battalion and approved by a BN CDR or higher. If you pass those two, you still have to re-qualify morally and physically and go through the MEPS processing once again. We have several waiver requests denied in my office because HQDA is not accepting them at this time.

I would start by raising the question as to why they didn't think they needed to get you a waiver to enlist in the first place. JFW = Erroneous Enlistment (medical condition for which no waiver was issued).
I have been fighting to get back in w/ a JFL code. It has been constant fighting w/ CMOs at MEPs. Find a damn good recruiter. I think I finally found one, myself. Make sure they communicate with you during the process, not just at the beginning & when they tell you "no dice."

Go down to your local recruiter and ask them if you can and what waver if required if any.

I have the same separation code with RE-3. To be completely honest I should not have got discharged in the first place, I passed all of the medical and physical tests. It just so happened that I had developed concussion while at basic training and the Training NCO at the time was retiring and didn’t want more paperwork before he retired so instead of refrating me to this summer he slapped me with what I believe a forceful dd-214. Is there any way I could fight this or maybe try ROTC to get back in?
