According to branch, WIAS tasking come down the chain of command now and can&#39;t be coordinated through branch. Anybody have advice? How do I volunteer for a deployment as an active duty LT? 2017-09-25T00:22:26-04:00 2LT Private RallyPoint Member 2944476 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I love the unit I am in and I should be finished with my PL time in the next month or so. MOBCOP website. Talk with your 3 shop. Good luck. You can try to get pinpoint orders to a unit deploying. Branch would be the ones to call for that. But it sounds like that isn&#39;t going to happen. Deployments are somewhat hard to come by these days. You are pretty much going to have to wait. Rank/branch/AOC/skills can all play a part too. My last two deployments were all volunteer WIAS, the last in 2018, but my command had to approve.
