Get on line and start searching. First of all, contact your chain of command and get approval. You got to have that! Then find the units who are tagged for rotation and start making contacts.Response by SGM Mikel Dawson made Aug 5 at 2015 9:55 PM2015-08-05T21:55:54-04:002015-08-05T21:55:54-04:00PO1 William "Chip" Nagel868665<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>That does sound like an Interesting Deployment. About face and run to the barracks and start packing. If you are lucky you will have between 10 and 30 minutes before your flight departs. You are welcome!Response by SGT William Howell made Aug 6 at 2015 9:40 AM2015-08-06T09:40:17-04:002015-08-06T09:40:17-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member871928<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was there to run the Dental Clinic 08-09. If you are "volunteering" for any deployments, this would be the one. Your MOS determines how busy you are. Lots of MWR activities on post (games, gym, px, fast food), live in seahuts with another roommate. I would return in a heartbeat but I changes MOS to Career Counselor (79V) and deployments are in my past. <br />Chanse it properly through your Chain of Command. Use your Retention/ARCC to help if you cant find a starting point. We are the ears of the units we support.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 7 at 2015 10:32 AM2015-08-07T10:32:39-04:002015-08-07T10:32:39-04:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member873287<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Vollenteer on the HRC website. It seems to be a mostly gaurd/reserve rotation. What you are determines what you do.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 7 at 2015 6:36 PM2015-08-07T18:36:44-04:002015-08-07T18:36:44-04:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member873301<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You should go to Tour of Duty and try to find a tour there. Currently the NCNG has a unit there. But when a state comes up short they will pull from their own state. It is uncommon for a state to let a slot go empty and then try to fill it with Tour of Duty. I would reach out to your S1 and try to notify your state's G3 MOB section. But keep in mind your MOS will be a determining factor. You would have to fall into a slot that is for your MOS. That could be hard. Most of the time they send MPs and Infantry there. <br /><br /><a target="_blank" href="https://mobcop.army.mil/tod/Default.aspx">https://mobcop.army.mil/tod/Default.aspx</a>#Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 7 at 2015 6:46 PM2015-08-07T18:46:01-04:002015-08-07T18:46:01-04:00SGT Robert Lincecum2510554<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You might be able to find it on AKO.Response by SGT Robert Lincecum made Apr 21 at 2017 9:39 AM2017-04-21T09:39:58-04:002017-04-21T09:39:58-04:002015-08-05T21:49:11-04:00
