How do others pass the time waiting for board results (FY 17 MAJ APL board on 5 months now without the results)?

I used to twiddle my thumbs? Does anyone still do that? Is twiddling permitted in the Army anymore. I am reasonably sure its still allowed in the Air Force as I have seen videos of mass twiddlers in one location. No disrespect intended sir. Just trying to lighten up the situation and tell you to forget about it. A watched pot does not boil !

CPT Daniel Peat just keep doing the current job you're in to the best of your ability. I ended up with 15 years service all as an Officer before making 0-4 on my 2nd and last look in the Reserves. It's not worth worrying while waiting!

I spend the time calculating exactly how long I THINK it should take following the board recess date.
Usually works out to about 10 calendar days....

I've been on a scroll that just hit 258 days in the Fed Rec cycle...it sat another 6 months prior to the scroll being made. There's nothing you can do about it. Sit and wait it out.
