NG and Reserve companies are many time almost a family unit. Which means you come in and --stay. As long as we keep being involved in W&#39;s Crusades, there will always be RAs with combat tours coming into the guard/reserves and getting the slots strictly for that reason. I don&#39;t agree with the up or out policy. But if you want retirement, which I have, you need to do whatever it takes to get that stripe!!
