How do Reserve Officer promotions work?

I am trying to find out when I will be promoted and how I will be notified? On my iperms information page it says I am eligible to promote Nov 15. However I can not seem to find another information about how and when that will actually take place. And the only thing I see online is the AC promotion list. Is there a RC list that is posted or do I just need to stand by? Thanks for all your help.

LT, there will be another promotion list USAR officers. Once you are eligible you will have to find a position if you are not in one already. The gaining unit will then submit a 56-r to HRC. About 30-60 days later you will get a promotion order.

Sir, there is a way on AKO files to see promotion lists got reservists. It's a lot of clicks and it's not always updated on time but it should be there. The best way I can explain how to get there is with this screenshot (see attached). Obviously your command and unit will be different from mine but it's just a guideline.

To 1LT, it is automatic - as well as to CPT. HRC simply cuts an order. You'll know before your unit does.

The HRC website is a one stop shopping for promotions. Just check the website periodically. Like others have said, from 2LT to LT is also automatic, as long as you didn't have any flagging actions in the Iperms system. Hope is helps.

You'll probably see it reflected on AKO and your LES before someone actually tells you. Your iperms order will follow at some point.

I am a bit surprised no is tracking this along with you. I made 1LT in 18 months. That is the earliest that you can get it. Otherwise it is 2 years. I am in the National Guard. Our commander was tracking this and so was our S1. I would speak to them about this.
