How do we mitigate China's ever growing geopolitical influence?

It looks as if China has found a new friend in Pakistan as such they want to sell their only aircraft carrier to them. As well during the past few months, plenty of armament and vehicles have been sold to Pakistani armed forces, including nuclear weapons technology, warships, aircraft and missiles. As such with India in mind how does the impact the region?

Badly, India and Pakistan have never got along, fought several wars/battles along their boundaries. Both have a N-stockpile, just have pushed a button, yet. China has eyed Indian numerous times too. It could blow up in the globe's face..

LOL, when you get some time, read up on the history of that Aircraft Carrier.........you'll get a good laugh. I also find it humorous that the Chinese want to dump it on Pakistan. In no way, shape, means or form is it equal to the Indian carrier. Yes it does help Pakistan save a little face but at tremendous cost. Classic Chinese move though, use the vanity of Pakistan to drive it deeper into debt, make them more dependent on China without doing all that much for their military. They have to be laughing in India at this transaction.

I think China's relationship with Pakistan goes back a ways. That probably has to do with both countries making use of the tension between India and China and between Pakistan and India, particularly with regard to Kashmir and Aksai Chin. (An enemy or adversary of my enemy or adversary is a friend of mine kind of thing.)

Pakistan's government is sitting on a powder keg. I don't think they would be a very reliable ally. I think the West should focus on further improving relations with India. I think a potential weakness of China's government is the relatively wealthy class of people living in the coastal cities of China who could demand more freedoms from their quasi-communist/fascist government.

the Chinese communist government for you. they can never handle their fights themselves they can only let others do it for them and that will never work.
