It may not be that hard. If you go to the EIB webpage at Fort Benning's website you can see where the next one's are and get a point of contact. The issue is letting you go. Your state or unit will have to put you on AT orders for is. One week is train up and the next if the test. It can be done but must States don't see the value in it when you are going to miss your regular AT.

What he said. I sent a guy in late Nov early Dec to Ft Polk to test. His PSG got with the SGM running it and said we'll send two badge holders to help if you let our dude try for it. He jumped at the proposition. He made it and the other two had fun. It's not impossible but getting your unit to pay for it is the sticking point. We're all AGR so it was just a little travel money and they took a GSA.

It's going to be hard. You are likely going to have to find an AC or NG unit that will let you participate in their event. Or live on Oahu, maybe. As you have not doubt noticed, there are very few infantry formations (in fact, 1, in Oahu) in the USAR.

On the plus side, there is one more BN of Infantry than there is of Armor...
