The medals hanging bit was more of a mess dress thing- where you wear none of that. However since it is listed in the AR670-1, you would place them as listed, in order of precedence. However, I think your question is more about- how can I make sure everyone sees my bling. Aviation wings will be above the medals, your bolo badges below on the flap of the pocket- centered top to bottom and evenly spaced. Your medal placement follows the same rules as ribbons but usually with a different rack- spend a few dollars and order it- so it comes placed together correctly- saves you pain.Response by CW4 Private RallyPoint Member made May 15 at 2020 4:08 AM2020-05-15T04:08:36-04:002020-05-15T04:08:36-04:00CW4 Keith Dolliver5891448<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>DA Pam 670-1, Par. 22-7Response by CW4 Keith Dolliver made May 15 at 2020 4:14 AM2020-05-15T04:14:35-04:002020-05-15T04:14:35-04:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member5892906<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It may sound crazy, but when I’ve worn mine I have looked at the Old Guard Soldiers and how they wear their medals/badges. DA PAM 670-1: It depends on which badges you intent wear. Driver and mechanic badges are not authorized for wear. You may wear up to 3 combat or special skill badges. And the devices will go below the medals. I found numerous photos of the Old Guard wearing them above the medals (Thanks for the idea CPT E).
