A leader takes responsibility for his actions and the actions of the troops. A leader does not try to hide when things are tough, but hit it head on. A leader is not scared to do what is right. Lastly, a leader was a great follower before becoming a leader.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 23 at 2014 8:16 PM2014-12-23T20:16:54-05:002014-12-23T20:16:54-05:00SPC(P) Jay Heenan384052<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>All great responses, but do not forget to mentor your junior SMs. Seems in the 'new Army', where cut backs are going on, leadership tends to focus on themselves and less on their junior Soldiers. Not everyone can be a leader, regardless of that individuals rank. Toxic leadership will always be worse than no leadership.Response by SPC(P) Jay Heenan made Dec 23 at 2014 8:38 PM2014-12-23T20:38:15-05:002014-12-23T20:38:15-05:001LT Private RallyPoint Member384219<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My leader is/should be my mirror.
