Even a statement could bring much discredit upon yourself as a military service member. The way I see it, posing inappropriately will soon lead to consequences that the weren't not considered before doing. I tell Soldiers they need to use caution on what they say or do when in uniform. It's too easy yet so hard for so many to do this. Last thing you want is the entire military community knowing your name and face for misconduct that is embarrassing. FB pics will happen as we all know and we can mitigate this with proper counseling at a minimum. Hopefully, this helps out and stops someone from doing something they deem "silly and cool" that really is offensive or just plain out wrong. Also, interpretations will differ among people on what they are for posing and what statement they believe the person(s) are presenting.
