Side note: "if your still in make a copy of everything". Once you retire or EAS it then goes to archives. If your lucky and depending on when you got out and your rank it could be on your OMPF. There is a copy of my original enlistment papers with my parent's signature on it because I was 17 at the time I enlisted. I'm not sure if the other branches do this, though.
