I could have avoided quite a few mistakes and made better choices had I had a tool like RP with support.

That being said, living the Army values isn't anything that should be hard. If you try and be a good and genuine person, you already embody these values. The Army focuses on these to create a standard but they are nothing really off the wall. SGT David T. I have been out of the Army for years and have been in the corporate world for the last 5.

You know the motivational posters they have posted on the wall (The ones that say, 'SUCCESS, Is not archived, it is kissing the right ass.' or whatever bullshit saying some idiot came up with). I hate them. When I say I hate them...I mean..if I could set the office on fire to just to burn them to the ground I would. My boss thinks somebody is going to walk by, read that bullshit and a light is go on and he is going to become super employee. I have one right outside my office (Something about "Teamwork". Yeah right! Ever been in a firefight? Now that is teamwork!). I have begged him to take it down. No such luck.

My boss and I are friends, we golf together and eat lunch together on a regular basis. So this will not get me fired, but I am serious about how much I can't stand them.

So every time I leave out of my office I tape up the Army Values over top of it. It will make it about a week or two and then it comes down. I just put another one up. We have been at it for about 4 months now. The Army Values goes back up because it has relevance even in the corporate world. Not like some weak ass saying. Everyone is supposed to bring that kind of ethics from Home. Living by this values is a commitment, is self discipline. Is like acting the way your family be proud of you.
