I take french vanilla creamer....roughly 4 table spoons and add it to the mix. Put a peppermint stick in each.<br />Shave a half pound of semi-sweet or dark semi-sweet chocolate.<br />In a small saucepan combine shaved chocolate and a quarter cup (1 stick) of butter, stirring frequently.<br />In a medium saucepan bring 4 cups of milk almost to a boil. But if I did I would do it this way.<br /><br />Take 1 lb of your favorite milk chocolate (If I had a preference it would be Godiva) and 1 lb (by weight, use a scale) of heavy cream. Heat heavy cream to almost a boil, stir into chocolate to create a ganache. <br /><br />Heat more heavy cream & portion into mugs. Stir in chocolate ganache to favorite consistency. It will melt into the cream almost effortlessly. The remaining ganache can be kept in a closed container for weeks in the fridge.
