I take french vanilla creamer....roughly 4 table spoons and add it to the mix. Put a peppermint stick in each.<br />Shave a half pound of semi-sweet or dark semi-sweet chocolate.<br />In a small saucepan combine shaved chocolate and a quarter cup (1 stick) of butter, stirring frequently.<br />In a medium saucepan bring 4 cups of milk almost to a boil. Stir occasionally.<br />Once either the milk or the chocolate inevitably burn, pour the whole mess down the garbage disposal, then throw out the peppermint, and fill the mugs with bourbon.<br />Drink both. But if I did I would do it this way.<br /><br />Take 1 lb of your favorite milk chocolate (If I had a preference it would be Godiva) and 1 lb (by weight, use a scale) of heavy cream. Heat heavy cream to almost a boil, stir into chocolate to create a ganache. <br /><br />Heat more heavy cream &amp; portion into mugs. Stir in chocolate ganache to favorite consistency. It will melt into the cream almost effortlessly. The remaining ganache can be kept in a closed container for weeks in the fridge. Or you can let the ganache cool, portion into bite size balls, roll them in powdered sugar, or cinnamon and have traditional french chocolate truffles. <br /><br />Since I don't drink anything but Lagavulin this is all just rhetorical though.
