What I've been doing is shutting up and coloring as I am told. Over all I try to do what is best for my Soilders and that they are getting taken care of as much as my PSG and I can do. I had several sessions behind closed doors with officers during the day. Never forgetting the divide, there are ways to hammer home the inherent fact that taking care of the troops under them while accomplishing the mission, is THE paramount responsibility of a leader. Getting promoted at the expense of your troops is unforgivable and does follow a person through their' career via the SrNCO network. We always know who the good officers are.
