The exceptions are if you&#39;re in a TDA unit you can&#39;t go to another TDA unit. The other exception is if you want to stabilize it has to be approved at your ACOM. <br />If you&#39;re not in your reenlistment window and you&#39;re a year from DEROS, and more than six months from DEROS, you can submit COT request to your branch. That&#39;s a Continuation on Overseas Tour request. Just need a 4187 to do a COT. Outside of training, leave and waiting on my clearance I spent the first 8 years continuously overseas.
