Some meetings were informal where I handed out an agenda that we discussed. I would take notes of the meeting or have someone else take notes to send out the minutes. For more structured meetings, I would do a dry run so that I was prepared. I would send out an agenda via an email and stress that folks needed to be on time. Attendees coming in late was always a disruption. I would have power point slides and had handouts already on the table. I would have someone taking notes for the minutes that I would try to get out the same day. I tried to keep my meetings to one hour, and when attendees brought up items not on the agenda, I would steer the discussion back to the agenda. I would sometimes go around the table and ask for additional comments relating to the agenda. Items brought up outside the scope of the meeting, would be discussed at another meeting. For early morning meetings, I would sometimes bring in donuts, kolaches, and orange juice. My job was to keep the meeting focused on the agenda and within the allotted time frame, as much as possible.Response by Sgt Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 20 at 2017 5:14 PM2017-08-20T17:14:24-04:002017-08-20T17:14:24-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member2857618<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>for a while I went by GTA 7-4-7 until people in my unit just stopped giving a damn.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 22 at 2017 1:59 PM2017-08-22T13:59:18-04:002017-08-22T13:59:18-04:002017-08-20T12:51:46-04:00
