How does a National Guardsman get a copy of their DD-214 and Retiree Card?

To my fellow National Guardsmen, I’m about to retire and I have enough activations to qualify for a DD-214 after I get out. How do I go about obtaining this? As well as my “Retiree Card”? Is it automatically sent in the mail or a process after submitting a request.

I don't know what you mean about "enough activations", you get a DD 214 after every T10 activation from a reserve component.

But if you are active duty now, and will reach 20 total years of active federal service soon to qualify for a regular retirement, then you need to complete the SFL-TAP program, where you will get all the answers to these questions and the more important questions you are not asking.

A "retiree card" is just like any other military ID, you get it from a DEERS/RAPIDS location, no earlier than the day after your last day of active duty.

NGB-22 is the"214" for the Guard.

Reserve and Nation Guard to NOT get a DD214 at the end of their service. NG and RC recieve sepatation orders and and updated retirement point statement (5016 or NGB 22/23).
DD214 are only for leaving a period of active duty service.

What I meant by activations is, that I have been under title 32 orders for over 6 months now and was told by higher that I/We (those on mission) qualified for a DD-214 unless they were mistaken.

Question? Do you have your "Twenty Year Letter (“Notification of Eligibility For Retired Pay at Age 60,” )" stating that you have completed 20 years? If you have, then you have three choices, remain in the Ready Reserve where you accumulate points and TIS, transfer to the Retired Reserve where you don't accumulate any more points, but still accumulate TIS, or request a Discharge. Once you choose a path and get orders, your NGB22 and an updated NGB23 point statement should be sent to you. You can get your "Gray Area Retiree Card" from any reserve center that issues ID's after you get your orders. Then you will need to apply for Retirement pay 9 months before you 60th birthday. Don't count on getting a packet these days, pull it off the internet.
You do not have to actively drill to keep accumulating points until you are 60. You can transfer to the IRR or ING and still get membership points and IRR allows you to still do tours if you desire.
