SPC Private RallyPoint Member 2035930 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I just recently came up on orders to Germany next year, and I seriously couldnt be more excited about it! I am currently going through the EFMP process since my wife has certain health issues (mild asthma, PCOS), I learned today that if where I am going (Grafenwoehr) dosent have the nessecitites to tend to my wifes medical needs, that i may be re assigned to a different assignment that DOES have what she requires. Now the question here is, and im sorry if this is a really stupid question but I cant seem to find an answer for it...Will they try and re assign me to a different part of Germany? Or will that be completely out of the question? Right now I am trying to get all the info I need before I PCS. Any info that anyone can help me with this issue would be greatly appreciated. How does an EFMP denial and reassignment work in Germany? 2016-11-02T23:05:33-04:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 2035930 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I just recently came up on orders to Germany next year, and I seriously couldnt be more excited about it! My children had mild asthma and my orders were canceled without warning. The second and third time I called &quot;Branch&quot; and asked if they were going to let me go with my family....they said I would have to go alone. I told them I was not going to do that so they cancelled my orders. I knew then I needed to request something fast or they would try to send me to a &quot;hardship&quot; tour. Essentially, you need the installation to have a gynecologist who&#39;s familiar with the condition (most are). I would recommend contacting the EFMP coordinator in Graf and see if the post can accommodate you. If they can, I would politely advise branch of such. Check on HRC page for the EFMP office and call them. These are professionals who have a better idea than the layman on here. Otherwise, my thought is that you would be reassigned stateside if EFMP decides that there is not sufficient care available in Germany. I&#39;d venture a guess that most accompanied duty stations are set up for many standard medical conditions. And there are numerous hospitals in the Area of Graf. For example Amberg and Weiden. Those hospitals are really good equiped. However, I am not a doctor but I wish you luck. Graf is an awesome duty station. Maybe you can give Landstuhl a call and see if they are able to treat those conditions. They will look at your EFMP and see is she will be cleared to live in that area. If she is not cleared then your branch will get the notice and you will lose that assignment. Stay on top of your ranch, because if you don&#39;t you can end up staying at your current location. Get on the phone and ask about other options if this falls through. <br /><br />Good luck.
