In my opinion, those of us that had put in several, and I mean several long, boring, dry, agonizing hours doing correspondence in order to raise our hours....we should have somehow been grandfathered into the new system with the equivalent amount of credit that we had previously earned. I real they think that this should be looked at again. I don't think that it's right that at one time I had maxed out the standard for hours...but because the requirements changed (after I had meet a standard) it appears that I barely did any courses at all. How does everyone feel about the way that the correspondence hours requirements have changed? 2014-01-08T19:10:36-05:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 35011

I was looking at my ERB the other day, and when I came across Military Ed.....I got a little upset think about it. If so then you can print out your ATTRs transcript, and your S-1 can put hours back in for you. In addition when you complete different levels of SSD, 80 hours per level will automatically populate there.

Having talked to a CSM that had recently sat on a promotion board, they are aware of the change. He said for him, he looked at it favorably if you had a triple digit number in the block. Hope that helps relieve your frustration a little.
