How does medical retirement work for someone who has both NG and active duty time? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-does-medical-retirement-work-for-someone-who-has-both-ng-and-active-duty-time

This could get long.
I served my first contract in Active, 6 years. Once I ETS'd and had a family I got the itch right after my IRR time was up, and I enlisted in the Guard, and I've spent 3 years here. About a year ago my COC noticed my attitude was miserable and had me checked by a psych. They determined I have pretty bad PTSD and initiated a med board. I was put on Non-Traditional drill status and told my drill was seeing the shrink. In that time I also decided to apply for VA disability. Rated 90%. The Medboard finally finished and they've retired me. I don't know how retirement works for soldiers in my situation. Does it go off of guard standards since I retired from there, or active duty standards because I have more time there? Is there a 3rd option?

Second, my PEBLO told me I qualify for CRSC, and DFAS has told me I don't have to wait until i'm 60 to receive it. I'm so confused about this entire thing, any help to be had out there? You can also see a VSO=Veterans Service Officer the service is free and usually they have a VSO in each county. Good Luck and Thank you for your Service.
