How does NCO Leadership training vary between the services? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-does-nco-leadership-training-vary-between-the-services

As a Navy HR training specialist in career and leadership development I am finding that Navy leadership training in the ranks is somehow different from what I went through in the Army and from what I hear from a couple of USMC folks I know, there are some differences there as well. When I started working on our supervisor development training I discovered that many of our current civilian supervisors were former Navy NCOs so I assumed they had leadership training similar to my own. Now I am not so sure and I think it might be an indicator of some of our leadership problems. Not wanting to offend anyone but I hope to get some feedback here. Additionally it changed how it is delivered, changing from all in residence to correspondence for the second and third level with an additional in residence for select individuals. Muse: get with the Navy Vets and get their perspective again. I don't
Know if you got yours just from observation or interaction or both. How much interaction or observation was/is there? Is it a few minutes every other couple days or continuous? If it's intermittently, how intermittent is it? Unless you observe or interact on a continuous basis how can you give a fair assessment of their leadership capability,
Hmm? Maybe you can, based on your continuous time in your position and as a Former Non-Commisioned officer, I'll credit that.. maybe To go outside the company to gain insight is unfair to them, SSG. Muse w/o letting them know that you are doing so. I s'pose as long as identities are kept confidential..
