Work on researching skills, thinking outside of the box (working with little guidance) and public speaking skills. I started 11B and went 37F too. Not just that you are better at one skill as a Soldier, or better at one skill over another. Knowing a bit of everything. When it is your time to shine (as a leader), then let it shine. Don’t let others control your situation, at the end of the day it is your decisions to make and yourself to accept if they were wrong/poor decisions. Be a team player and let those in leader positions do their job, give them advice but do not take control, your time will come. Be prepared to write a paper about a given subject. Don’t be afraid to write about something as long as your ideas are coherent and you have a way to back up your argument (kind of like debating but not a debate).

DLAB: There really is nothing you should do for this, the exam is a made up language and you follow the specific rules/guidelines that they give you when you answer the questions provided.

POQC: Id say let’s just take this one step at a time, POQC (officer)/POSC (enlisted) will come in its due time when you make it through selection, airborne school (if you don’t have it), orientation, language, POQC/POSC, etc. etc. For now, just focus on the physical and mental demands for selection. We can discuss MOS training once you get through the initial steps.

Best of luck!
