How does PME translate between branches of service (specifically enlisted Air Force to enlisted Army Guard)?

I'm not sure just what you really want to know, education as in how does your Air Force MOS translate to an Army one, or the difference in leadership training between branches. If you are asking about leadership development, the Army side has a series of formal schools starting at what used to be called Primary Leadership Development Course (Warrior Leaders Course now?) for E4's, then Basic and Advanced NCO courses, First Sergeant's Course, etc. My understanding that this a bit more formalized than other services.

Here's the dilemma:

I have Air Force personnel that transferred to the Army Guard. They came to me as E-6s and E-7s and now the question of what is their next PME step...

Does an E-7 (All rank gained from the Air Force, now in the Army) only have to complete SSD-4? Or does he need to attend SLC? BLC-SLC?

I also have an E-6 that, as an E-7 in the Air Force, completed his Air Force E-7 PME. If that carries over, I can pin him back to an E-7. If not, then I need to get him scheduled for SLC.

Clear as mud? Yeah...me either.

Did you ever get an answer to this? I am trying to find out if I need to go to BLC.
