It allows you the opportunity to interact or search other members of your MOS that may be PCSing as well, and you can use the RP search engine to search opportunities or connect with other looking to do the same or even make contacts with people that work within the area that you are looking to go or even that work at branch.

Just start the searching for what you are needing to find within the site, there are many things you can find and get help with.

Check out "Military Assignments" under the Career Corner tab. You'll see other people from your MOS and rank PCSing around the same time as you. RallyPoint can't cut you orders, but it will give you some transparency into what opportunities are out there. You can then connect with those folks (or people in their units) and learn more about the unit and the position.
